CASIO EXILIM Pro EX-F1 and EXILIM Card EX-S10 receive a Plus X Award 2008
CASIO digital cameras triumph in Europe's largest technology competition

Norderstedt, May 2008 - Two digital cameras from the CASIO range have both won a Plus X Award 2008 in Europe's largest technology competition. The high-speed digital camera EXILIM Pro EX-F1 received its award in the Innovation and Ease of Use categories. The EXILIM Card EX-S10, one of the world's flattest 10.1-megapixel digital cameras, won its coveted award in the Ease of Use category.

Thanks to its innovative high-speed CMOS sensor and its high-speed LSI processor, the EXILIM Pro EX-F1 is able to take up to 60 photos a second at full resolution and record high-speed movies for slow motion playback at up to 1,200 fps. The EX-F1 also features Full High-Definition (Full HD) movie* recording capability. The EXILIM Card EX-S10 has enabled CASIO to continue its succes story with ultra-compact cameras, which started with the launch of its EXILIM range in 2002. This range combines elegant, slim designs with innovative camera technologies. The high-quality stainless steel case and their colouring in silver, black, red and blue mean this stylish camera is a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its high contrast, the ultra-bright TFT colour display (Super Clear LCD) gives a particularly clear view of images.

The Plus X Awards have already entered their fifth year. They are awarded in recognition of outstanding technology in consumer electronics, telecommunications, information technology, household appliances, home technology systems, photo technology, car entertainment as well as power tool and gardening technology. The highlight of Europe's largest technology competition is the award ceremony at the Plus X Award Night, where the best products of the year are announced. The Plus X Award ceremony took place in Cologne on May 20, 2008.
