Norderstedt, August 2003 - The European Imaging & Sound Association, or EISA for short, has reached its verdict and will name the CASIO EXILIM EX-Z3 Digital Mini-Camera of the Year 2003-2004 at the IFA fair in Berlin. Every year, devices in five categories (photo, audio, video, home theater and mobile electronics) compete for coveted prizes, representing a combination of cutting-edge technology, top design, ergonomic excellence and maximum utility value. The main attraction of this year's winner in the photo category, the EXILIM EX-Z3, is the superior technology inside its slimline 87x57x22.9mm (WxHxD) polished aluminum case. Thanks to a CCD with 3.2 megapixel (effective) and a 3x optical zoom, the camera's strengths are immediately clear. Photos can be printed out in large formats without loss of quality. These convincing hardware features are complemented by the 2" TFT-LCD on the back of the camera, making the EXILIM EX-Z3 a constant "mini-companion" for brilliant pictures with excellent brightness and contrast. The EXILIM EX-Z3 is available from good specialist dealers.
